PREGNANCY AFTER LOSS

At The Miscarriage Doula, we consider pregnancy after loss to be under the umbrella of life after loss because subsequent pregnancies are greatly impacted by the grief and trauma of past loss. When someone is pregnant following loss — there’s grief for what you’re experiencing but there’s also hope and excitement. The complexity of feeling so many emotions at once can be overwhelming. We are aiming to make pregnancy after loss care more realistic by holding space for both the grief and the joy. Just like our pregnancy loss support groups, our pregnancy after loss groups provide community mixed with professional support from a doula on an ongoing basis.

Pregnancy After Loss Support Group

Pregnancy after loss is different.

Even when you've hoped and waited for this pregnancy, it can be incredibly difficult to trust your body, trust the process, or feel safe. Many people find themselves carrying both grief and hope at the same time—wanting to connect with their pregnancy while also protecting their hearts.

If you've experienced miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant loss, termination for medical reasons, or another form of pregnancy loss, this group was created with you in mind.

This is not a space where you'll be told to "just stay positive" or "enjoy every moment." It's a space where all of your feelings are welcome. Together, we'll navigate the realities of pregnancy after loss with support, education, guidance, and community from people who truly understand.

You Don't Have to Navigate Pregnancy After Loss Alone

Pregnancy after loss can feel isolating, especially when it seems like everyone around you expects you to be reassured simply because you're pregnant again.

This group recognizes the reality that a new pregnancy does not erase a previous loss.

You deserve support that acknowledges your grief, honors your previous baby or babies, and helps you move through this pregnancy one step at a time.

We'd be honored to walk alongside you.
