Pregnancy After Loss Support

We know firsthand how fearful the days of pregnancy after loss can seem which is why we continue to provide support through that season of life, too. Our pregnancy after loss (PAL) support groups hold space for the grief of pregnancy after loss as well as the exciting milestones and moments.

With my third pregnancy, which was my first pregnancy that I graduated from the fertility clinic and got to see an OB-GYN with, I felt alone in the process and like no one could relate to the fact that my fears were morbid and I needed people who truly understood that part of being pregnant after so much infertility and loss. When I created The Miscarriage Doula, I knew that we needed to have space for pregnancy after a loss because it’s still possible to grieve what we’ve lost while trying to celebrate what we have.

Pregnancy After Loss Support

Pregnancy after loss is a stage of life after pregnancy loss that deserves support that includes the aspects of grief that may be experienced, the anxiety and fear, as well as celebrating the happy milestones.

The Miscarriage Doula provides Pregnancy After Loss support groups! Our pregnancy after loss groups are unique because they hold space for the difficult days where grief and anxiety take over and then we also celebrate the days that feel like wins.

Through our group, we’ll cover topics around grieving while pregnant again, milestones that happen in the first, second, and third trimester, as well as giving time to current stressors, emotions, and celebratory moments.

It’s like having a group of girlfriends who just get it.

REGISTER FOR THE GROUP BELOW!

  • Over the duration of the cohort — you’ll meet every other week, over zoom, to discuss the topic of the week, hold space for grief and pregnancy milestones, and connect with the others in the group.

  • We lead our groups with our hearts and want the entire experience to be personal, casual and professional at the same time. Each session of your cohort, you’ll receive an email from your moderator (Arden or Sarah) with what to expect from the weekly call, information on the topic, and handouts that relate to the topic or what you’re struggling with. We don’t automate anything and always take the time to personalize our emails and correspondence.

  • Your cohort will have a private group chat on WhatsApp and that group chat is yours to keep. That means during the cohort, it’s space to continue connecting and after the cohort is over, you will continue to have that lifeline.

  • We plan our support groups to have topics as well as space for updates, questions, and concerns. Included in your group will also be birth prep provided by Arden Cartrette (A birth doula)

  • Arden (our founder) has created 10+ resources that match our curriculum. They are yours to keep and we encourage you share them with your partner, too!

We also have resources that you can access right now.
